TEL AVIV, November 19, 2015 (WAFA) – Two Israelis were killed and
at least another was wounded in a stabbing attack in Tel Aviv on Thursday
afternoon.
Haaretz reported that a Palestinian stabbed three Israelis with a
knife at the entrance of the Panarama Building in southern Tel Aviv, killing
two Israelis and wounding another.
The Israelis who were killed were reportedly in prayer when they
were attacked. The wounded is in moderate condition.
The Palestinian, who carried out the stabbing, is reportedly from
the Hebron town of Dura. According to Israeli sources he was lightly wounded
and detained.
Haaretz said Israeli police initially suspected that the act was
carried out by two individuals, but following a search they found only one to
be behind the incident.
The Palestinian who carried out the alleged stabbing reportedly
received a permit to enter Israel approximately a month ago.
Haaretz said he told Israeli police investigators he entered in
order to “attack and kill Jews” although he had no prior record of
security-related offenses.
Israeli paramedics were reported as saying that “an unconscious
32-year-old man suffering from stab wounds was at the front of the building. He
did not have a pulse and was not breathing. Next to him was a man in his 30s,
who had stab wounds to his upper body.”
