JENIN, June 22, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces have continued raids on the village of Sanur, south of Jenin, since Saturday.
Ahmad Daraghmeh, head of the Sanur Council, told WAFA that the occupation forces raided entire neighborhoods in the village, searched their homes, forcibly displaced several families, and transformed the village into military barracks.
He added that a curfew has been imposed on the village since last night until further notice, and that occupation soldiers are preventing people from leaving to attend to their needs, explaining that this situation necessitated the formation of an emergency committee to attempt to deliver supplies and bread to people in their homes due to the ongoing closure.
Daraghmeh confirmed that the occupation forces detained a large number of young men and interrogated them on the spot, in addition to arresting some, although there is no information on their numbers due to the ongoing aggression.
The occupation forces raided Sanur last night, Saturday, with a large number of infantry units, and imposed a curfew until further notice.
