AMMAN, June 22, 2025 (WAFA) – Jordan’s King Abdullah II emphasized the importance of maintaining international focus on the situation in Gaza and the West Bank.
During a phone call on Sunday with UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, the King stressed the importance of working toward a ceasefire in Gaza, ensuring the delivery of adequate humanitarian aid, and halting the escalation in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
He also underlined the need to intensify international diplomatic efforts to achieve a comprehensive de-escalation, warning of the consequences of continued escalation and rising tensions in the region.
