BETHLEHEM, September 8, 2015
(WAFA) – Israeli army cordoned off a boys school on Tuesday in the village of
al-Khader, southwest of Bethlehem, and attempted to break into the premises,
according to local sources.
A source from Bethlehem’s
education directorate told WAFA an Israeli army force cordoned off Saeed
al-‘Ass school in the village and told the school’s administration they were
seeking to obtain the school’s surveillance cameras’ recording tapes, which was
rejected by the school.
There were no reports of
arrests in the school, which is close to the Israeli segregation barrier.
Ministry of Education condemned
the assualt, and considered it a violation of the sanctity of education and
international norms.
