RAMALLAH,
August 25, 2015 (WAFA) - The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Residential
buildings reached 100.92 with a slight increase of 0.03% in the West Bank
during July 2015 compared to June 2015, said a report
issued by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) on Tuesday.
It
said that, CCI rose due to a slight increase in the prices of raw materials by
0.04%, while rental equipments slightly decreased by 0.02%. The prices of labor
wages remained stable during the same period.
Meanwhile,
CCI for Non-residential buildings reached 101.19 with a slight increase of 0.05%
in the West Bank during July 2015 compared to the previous month.
It
rose due to a slight increase in the prices of raw materials by 0.09%, while
rental of equipments decreased by 0.07%. The prices of labor wages also
remained stable during the same period.
As
for CCI for Skeleton buildings, it reached 98.80 with a slight decrease of 0.06%
in the West Bank during July 2015 compared to the previous month. It declined
due to the decrease in prices of rental of equipments by 0.17%, and raw materials
by 0.08%. Prices of labor wages remained
stable during the same period.
The
overall Road Cost Index (RCI) reached 112.49 with a decrease of 0.22% in the
West Bank during July 2015 compared to June 2015.
It
declined due to the decrease in the prices of rental of equipments by 0.47%, operating
costs of equipment & maintenance by 0.33%, and raw materials by 0.21%.
Meanwhile, labor wages remained stable during the same period.
Meanwhile,
the overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) reached 109.98 with a slight decrease
of 0.07% in the West Bank during July 2015 compared to June 2015.
As
for the overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI), it reached 107.09 with a decrease
of 0.33% in the West Bank during the same period.
