RAMALLAH, July 5, 2015 (WAFA) – The overall quantity of Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine increased in May 2015 by 8.52% compared to the previous month, said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics Sunday.
It reported that the increase was due to a rise in activity of manufacturing industry, which had a share of 80.56% from the total industry, by 7.89%.
The water and electricity supply formed a share of 14.85% of the total industry and increased by 9.24%. Meanwhile the mining and quarrying that had a share of 4.59% of the total industry, increased by 15.29%.
