RAMALLAH, June 29, 2015 (WAFA) - The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine decreased in May 2015 by 1.16% compared to April 2015 and reached 103.81 the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) Monday said.
According to the daily report which WAFA receives, PPI for locally-consumed products decreased by 1.26% in May 2015 compared to the previous month. PPI for exported products also decreased by 0.11% for the same period compared to April 2015, while it reached 102.79.
The changes of PPI was traced back to changes in prices of agricultural goods, manufacturing group, fishing, mining and quarrying, which decreased by 2.26%. 0.44%, 9.22%, 1.03%, respectively.
