SALFIT, July 29, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists cut down more than 20 orange and lemon trees in the Wadi Qana area of Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit.
Local sources told WAFA that dozens of colonists sneaked their way into Wadi Qana area, where they uprooted around 20 orange and lemon trees belonging to Palestinian resident Salah Yousef Mansour.
The area has been subjected to repeated attacks by Israeli forces and colonists, including land razing, tree cutting, and assaults on farmers, in an attempt to restrict the movement of Palestinians and seize additional land for the benefit of settlement expansion.
