Minister of Interior concludes three-day official visit to Türkiye

ANKARA, June 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Minister of Interior Ziad Hab Al-Reeh on Thursday concluded a three-day official visit to Türkiye, which further enhanced cooperation and the exchange of expertise.

Minister Hab Al-Reeh headed a delegation that comprised Director General of the Police Major General Allam Al-Saqqa, Director General of Civil Defense Major General Akram Thawabteh, and Head of the Arab and International Cooperation Unit Brigadier Mahmoud Salah Al-Din.

The visit featured a series of official meetings and discussions, most notably with Turkish Interior Minister Mustafa Ciftci, in the presence of the Palestine’s Ambassador to Türkiye, Nasri Abu Jaish, and the Palestinian military attaché, Brigadier Shadi Abu Zneit.

During the meeting, Hab Al-Reeh highlighted the depth of bilateral relations and praised Türkiye's positions in support of the Palestinian people. The two sides also discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the Interior Ministries and to exchange expertise.

Turkish Interior Minister Ciftci reiterated his country's support for Palestine and underscored the need to reach a solution that guarantees security, stability and peace in the region.

The visit also included tours of the Turkish Police Academy and the 112 Emergency Call Center to learn about the Turkish experience in the fields of emergency response and crisis management.
