NEW JERSEY, May 18, 2026 (WAFA) – The city of Paterson, New Jersey, witnessed massive public events yesterday, Sunday, as part of the fifth annual “Palestine Day on Palestine Way,” organized by the Palestinian American Community Center on Palestine Street in the city center.
Thousands of members of the Palestinian and Arab communities, along with American supporters, participated in the hours-long event, which included artistic performances, cultural segments, and traditional food.
The occasion became a platform to highlight Palestinian identity and culture in the United States, with Palestinian flags waving throughout the venue amidst a large turnout and messages affirming adherence to identity, belonging, and the transmission of the Palestinian narrative to future generations.
This event is held annually on Palestine Street, which has become a symbol of the Palestinian community's presence and its growing influence in New Jersey.
