RAMALLAH, March 14, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces shot a Palestinian man and severely beat his son on Saturday at the Beit Iksa checkpoint, northwest of Jerusalem, according to local sources.
Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces opened fire at Ahmad Khalil Saleh, 43, while he was near the checkpoint, injuring him with live ammunition. The nature of his injuries and his medical condition were not immediately known.
The sources added that Israeli soldiers also severely beat his son, Khalil Ahmad Saleh, 20, while they were present at the site.
