JERUSALEM, March 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked the Bedouin community of Ma'azi Jaba, northeast of Jerusalem, on Saturday, according to the Jerusalem Governorate.
The governorate said that colonists assaulted the Bedouin gathering and vandalized residents’ property. They also killed several sheep belonging to local residents in the area.
The community is home to around 200 residents, including about 40 families and 70 children under the age of 18, who live in difficult conditions lacking basic necessities.
Bedouin communities around Jerusalem are frequently subjected to attacks by Israeli colonists and forces as part of policies aimed at displacing the Palestinian population in favor of colonial expansion and settlement projects.
