WASHINGTON, March 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Organizations from the Palestinian-American community launched a new political initiative aimed at supporting candidates in the upcoming US congressional elections who adopt positions supporting justice and Palestinian rights and who oppose the war in the Gaza Strip.

According to a letter addressed to a number of organizations and political entities, the initiative seeks to unify efforts within the Palestinian community and its allies in the United States to influence the American political landscape and amplify the voices calling for an end to violations against Palestinians.

The organizers of the initiative emphasized that the candidates being supported are political figures who refuse to accept funding from pro-Israel lobbies, most notably the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), and who have taken clear stances against the war in Gaza.

The campaign organizers also called on Palestinian-American organizations to join the initiative and participate in coordination meetings aimed at building a unified political front to defend justice and Palestinian rights within American political institutions.
