TEHRAN, March 1, 2026 (WAFA) — The war between Israel and Iran entered today its second day, as Israel and the United States launched a wide-scale attack targeting the country's top leadership.
Since early Sunday morning, strikes hit key areas across the country, including the official state television complex in Tehran, as well as other cities and districts including Seyed Khandan, Meydan, Neka, Motahari Street, and Sepah Square.
Earlier today, Iranian state television announced the assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and several prominent Iranian officials.
