CAIRO, February 21, 2026 (WAFA) – The Arab Republic of Egypt on Saturday condemned statements made by US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, describing them as a blatant departure from the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the principled position of Egypt on the Palestinian cause, reaffirming that Israel has no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territory or any other Arab lands.

It also reiterated its categorical rejection of any attempts to annex the West Bank or separate it from the Gaza Strip, as well as its opposition to expanding settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territory.
