RAMALLAH, January 19, 2026 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates extended its condolences to the government and people of the friendly Kingdom of Spain over the victims of the train collision.

In a statement, the ministry further extended its condolences to the families of the victims of the tragic incident that occurred yesterday as a result of the derailment and collision of two high-speed trains in southern Spain, which led to the killing and injury of dozens of people.

The Ministry affirmed its full solidarity and support for the friendly Spanish people in this grave tragedy, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
