Protesters rally in Stockholm against Israeli breaches of ceasefire in Gaza

STOCKHOLM, December 14, 2025 (WAFA) — Hundreds of people took part in a protest in the Swedish capital Stockholm late Saturday evening to denounce Israeli violations against Palestinians and the continued breaches of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.

The demonstrators gathered at Odenplan Square following a call by numerous civil society organizations, protesting Israeli airstrikes targeting Gaza and the ongoing escalation despite the declared ceasefire.

Participants condemned Israel’s violation of the ceasefire agreement, which came into effect in Gaza on October 10, and warned of the humanitarian consequences of continued military attacks on the besieged enclave.

Protesters carried banners bearing slogans such as “Children are being killed in Gaza,” “Schools and hospitals are under attack,” and “Stop the genocide in Gaza.”

Speakers and participants also called for an immediate end to acts of genocide and Israeli air assaults on Gaza, as well as an end to arms sales to Israel, urging the international community to take concrete steps to protect Palestinian civilians.
