DOHA, December 11, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian national football team exited the Arab Cup on Thursday evening after a hard-fought 2–1 defeat to Saudi Arabia in the quarter-finals, following two extra-time periods.

The match was intense and closely contested, with the Palestinian team managing to keep pace with their Saudi counterparts throughout regular time before the game was ultimately decided in extra time.

Despite the loss, the players delivered an impressive performance throughout the tournament, achieving a historic milestone by reaching the quarter-finals for the first time.
