RAMALLAH, October 10, 2025 (WAFA) – Health Ministry crews treated on Friday 36 casualties from assaults by Israeli forces and colonists in the Nablus-governorate towns of Beita, Huwara, and Deir Sharaf, according to the Ministry.
It said that two Palestinians sustained gunshot injuries, while the 34 others suffered injuries due to beating by Israeli occupation forces and colonists. All were admitted to Rafidia Hospital and Beita Emergency Center in light to moderate conditions.
Earlier, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that its crews provided first aid treatment to seven Palestinians, including journalists Jaafar Ishtayeh and Wahhaj Bani Mufleh, who were injured while reporting on an attack by Israeli colonists on olive harvesters in Beita.
Yazan Hamayel and Saja al-Alami, both journalists, suffocated from excessive tear gas canisters in the attack, as confirmed by WAFA correspondent.
Colonists had brutally beaten Palestinians as the latter were picking olives in Jabal Qamas in the town, and torched four vehicles, including AFP journalist Ishtayeh’s vehicle.
Israeli soldiers arrived at the area and fired volleys of tear gas canisters towards olive harvesters and other Palestinians, leading to several suffocation cases.
