Six killed, including two children, in Israeli drone strike on displaced persons' tent in Khan Younis

GAZA, July 26, 2025 (WAFA) – Six Palestinians, including two children, were killed and several others injured on Saturday after an Israeli drone strike targeted a tent sheltering displaced civilians in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Medical sources at Nasser Medical Complex confirmed the arrival of the six bodies, including the two children, along with a number of wounded victims. According to the sources, the strike directly hit a tent in what had been allegedly declared a "safe zone" by Israeli authorities.

Since midnight, at least 47 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, including 17 people who were seeking humanitarian aid at the time of the attacks.

The ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has so far resulted in the killing of nearly 60,000 people, mostly children and women, and the wounding of 146,000 others.

This figure remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue teams due to the relentless shelling and massive amount of debris.
