GAZA, August 23, 2026 (WAFA) — At least six Palestinians were injured on Sunday, some seriously, after Israeli forces bombed a house in the town of Al-Zawaida in the central Gaza Strip.
Medical sources said six injured Palestinians were transferred to a hospital following the strike, with some suffering serious injuries.
In a separate attack, Israeli forces bombed a shelter near the Al-Maghazi intersection along Salah al-Din Street in central Gaza.
Medical sources in Gaza said today that the death toll from Israel’s ongoing aggression on the Strip has reached 73,420 Palestinians killed and 174,369 injured since October 7, 2023.
