RAMALLAH, August 23, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli forces shot a young Palestinian man with live ammunition and detained him this evening near the town of Al-Taybeh, east of Ramallah.
The General Authority for Civil Affairs said in a brief statement that Israeli forces detained 25-year-old Aws Akram Maatan, from the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, after shooting him in the foot with live ammunition at the Karamilo intersection, east of the governorate.
