NABLUS, August 23, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists installed two additional mobile homes today in the village of Burin, south of Nablus.

Local sources reported that the colonists raided the Khallet Sewar area, south of Burin, and installed two more mobile homes there.

The colonists have previously established a colonial outpost in the area and installed several mobile homes at the site.

Burin and neighboring villages south of Nablus have faced repeated attacks and land seizures by Israeli colonists, including the establishment and expansion of unauthorized outposts, as well as restrictions on Palestinians' access to their agricultural lands.

The expansion of such outposts is frequently accompanied by the installation of mobile homes, fencing and access roads, gradually creating permanent facts on the ground and increasing pressure on nearby Palestinian communities.
