Israeli forces demolish horse stable northeast of Jerusalem

RAMALLAH, May 7, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Wednesday demolished a horse stable in the town of Issawiya, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.

Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli military vehicles stormed the town, deployed throughout it, before demolishing a horse stable.

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented 73 demolitions carried out by Israeli occupation authorities last month, affecting 152 structures, including 96 inhabited homes, 10 uninhabited homes, and 34 agricultural and other structures.

These demolitions took place in the Tubas governorate with 59 structures, the Hebron governorate with 39, and the Jerusalem governorate with 17.

The commission noted that the occupying state is adopting a dangerous approach to Palestinian construction, first by intensifying demolitions in an unprecedented manner amid threats to intensify them in all areas, and second by forcing citizens to pay the costs of demolition, as happened recently in Masafer Yatta.
