RAMALLAH, September 2, 2026 (WAFA) — Two Palestinian youths were killed by Israeli forces and colonists on Wednesday evening during an attack on the village of al-Mughayyir, north of Ramallah.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its crews evacuated two Palestinians who were shot with live ammunition, one in the neck and the other in the back, during an attack by colonists and Israeli forces on the village. The two wounded Palestinians were transported to hospital.
Amin Abu Aliya, head of al-Mughayyir village council, told WAFA that the two youths, Omar Mohammad Na'ssan and Khalil Abu Aliya, both 19, were killed following an attack by colonists accompanied by Israeli forces.
He said the colonists and Israeli forces raided the center of the village near the Grand Mosque, attacked two homes, and stole sheep.
Abu Aliya added that Israeli army snipers took positions on buildings in the center of the village. When locals attempted to confront the colonists as they stole the sheep, the snipers opened live fire at the Palestinians, critically wounding the two youths. They later succumbed to their injuries while being transported to hospital.
