HEBRON, September 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces demolished four water wells and several greenhouses on Wednesday in the Al-Thaghra neighborhood of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
Media activist Muhammad Awad told WAFA that Israeli forces used a bulldozer to demolish four water wells in the al-Thaghra area, each reaching approximately 40 meters underground. The wells were used to irrigate crops and for other agricultural purposes.
He added that Israeli soldiers also demolished several greenhouses in the same area, claiming they lacked permits. The greenhouses belonged to Khaled Yousef Breigheth, Abdullah Abdul-Muttalib Breigheth, and Nabil Munir Breigheth, all residents of Beit Ummar.
He noted that the losses resulting from the demolitions are estimated at more than 200,000 shekels, according to the affected residents.
