HEBRON, April 4, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today prevented a Palestinian herder from grazing his livestock in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron.
According to local activist Osama Makhamra, Israeli soldiers blocked Fadel al-Hamamda from taking his sheep and goats to graze near his home in the village of Mufaggara in Masafer Yatta. The soldiers threatened him with detention if he took his animals out of the pen.
Meanwhile, Israeli colonists released their sheep and cattle into Palestinian agricultural lands in the same area, including olive groves, with the apparent intent of damaging crops and seizing the land for colonial expansion.
