Israeli colonists establish new colonial outpost in northern Jordan Valley

JORDAN VALLEY, April 3, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists began expansion work on the colonial outpost adjacent to the village of Bardala in the northern Jordan Valley.

Hassan Malihat, general supervisor of the Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights and Targeted Villages, said in a press release that colonists began expansion work on the colonial outpost adjacent to the village of Bardala, located approximately 200 meters from the village.

A significant increase in the construction of colonial units has been recorded in the colonial outpost adjacent to the village, added Malihat.

Malihat added that several tents have been built in the village of Bardala, approximately 200 meters from Palestinian homes, aimed at emptying the land of its Palestinian inhabitants for the benefit of the settlers.

He noted that this colonial outpost is witnessing daily development, as ready-mix concrete trucks were brought in several days ago to expedite the construction process. They have built permanent arbors, as well as new and modernized ones, for the benefit of colonial expansion.

He said that the colonists in this outpost are releasing 50 head of cattle onto Palestinian citizens' crops with the aim of destroying them.

In this context, Al-Baidar Organization confirmed that the occupation authorities, in cooperation with the colonists, continue their repressive measures against shepherds in the area. They have imposed strict restrictions on their movement, preventing them from crossing the road built around Bardala.
