HEBRON, January 18, 2025 (WAFA) - Four children were injured by live ammunition on Saturday evening during an Israeli military raid in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, according to local sources.
Local media activist Mohammad Awad reported that the Israeli forces stormed the town, sparking confrontations in which soldiers fired live bullets, rubber-coated steel rounds, stun grenades, and toxic gas towards residents.
Three children were hit by live gunfire in their lower limbs, while the fourth child sustained shrapnel wounds to his hand.
In addition to the children's injuries, dozens of civilians suffered from suffocation due to the tear gas used by the soldiers.
Awad confirmed that the four children were transferred by Palestinian Red Crescent ambulances to hospitals in Hebron for treatment.
