Colonists set up caravan on village land south of Nablus for benefit of colonial expansion

NABLUS, January 17, 2025 (WAFA) - Colonists erected on Friday a caravan on Palestinian-owned lands north of the village of Qusra south of Nablus, according to a local official.

Hani Odeh, the Head of the Qusra village council, said that colonists placed a new caravan on the village's lands, adding that in recent days, caravans were installed on lands located north, east and south of the village.

The head of the village council said the Israeli occupation forces are blocking agricultural roads leading to these lands, preventing residents’ access.

The colonists are installing mobile caravans on Palestinian-owned land in preparation to confiscate more land and establish additional colonial outposts.

The total area of Qusra’s lands is approximately 9,000 dunums, classified under Areas B and C. These lands are surrounded by five colonies, with the largest Migdalim colony situated on the eastern lands of the village. The other four colonies are located in the southern area.
