HEBRON, December 17, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday night attacked Palestinians taking part in a peaceful sit-in that was organized by residents to demand an end to the closure imposed on Hebron’s Old City by the Israeli occupation.

Activist Aref Jaber reported that Israeli forces fired sound bombs and tear gas at the protesters and physically assaulted members of the Ghaith family.

The protest comes after the Israeli occupation tightened its control over the Old City, by erecting barbed wire barriers, military checkpoints and gates to separate local neighborhoods.
