JENIN, December 17, 2024 (WAFA) – Two young men were injured on Tuesday evening by Israeli forces’ gunfire during a military raid into the villages of Anin and Zububa, west of Jenin.

Mohammad Issa, head of Anin Village Council, reported that Israeli forces stormed the village, amid the firing of live ammunition at residents, shooting and injuring a young man in the foot.

Local sources also confirmed that Israeli troops raided the nearby village of Zububa, where confrontations broke out. Israeli forces fired live bullets and tear gas canisters at residents, shooting and injuring another young man with live gunfire.

Israeli forces also stormed the village of Rummanah, amid the firing of sound bombs and live ammunition in the streets. No detentions or further injuries were reported.

The raids are part of ongoing Israeli military operations in the West Bank.
