GAZA, December 15, 2024 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians were killed and others were injured last night in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City, Deir el-Balah and Rafah in the Gaza Strip, according to local and medical sources.
WAFA correspondent reported that Mohamed Ahmed Taha was killed and another person injured in an Israeli drone strike on Khirbat al-Adas, north of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
Israeli warplanes also targeted displaced people’s tents west of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in several fatalities and injuries. Local sources confirmed that an Israeli airstrike also hit a home in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in northern Gaza City, killing one Palestinian and injuring several others.
Earlier in the day, five Palestinians were killed, and twelve others injured in an Israeli airstrike on the home of the Al-Qarinaoui family in Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Eyewitnesses reported that the bombing led to the complete destruction of the house and significant damage to nearby homes. Rescue teams continue searching for missing persons beneath the rubble.
Meanwhile, medical sources confirmed that four bodies and three injured individuals were brought to the Martyrs' Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah after Israeli airstrikes hit a tent sheltering displaced people southwest of Deir al-Balah.
Additionally, two Palestinians were killed, and three others were injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a gathering in the Al-Nasr neighborhood of Gaza City.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 44,930 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 106,624 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
