NABLUS, December 10, 2024 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday closed the village of Madama, south of Nablus, and banned movement in it.
The head of the village council, Abdullah Ziada, told WAFA that the occupation army closed three entrances connecting the village to the village of Asira al-Qibliya, and the military checkpoint of Al-Murabba’a with earth mounds, while the entrance connecting the village to the village of Burin was closed.
Ziadah pointed out that the occupation forces have been isolating the village since yesterday evening, after storming it and closing its entrances, and declared a curfew in the village, following raiding a number of its neighborhoods, which led to a complete paralysis in all aspects of life.
He confirmed that the occupation forces deliberately fire live bullets, sound bombs, and toxic tear gas towards homes, and prevent citizens from moving, or entering or leaving them, which led to the disruption of commercial activity and the educational process.
