NABLUS, December 4, 2024 (WAFA) – An Israeli army vehicle Tuesday evening rammed into a Palestinian boy in Beita town, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources.
They said that a convoy of Israeli army vehicles stormed the town, where the occupation soldiers deployed in several neighbourhoods.
In the course of the ensuing confrontations, the gun-toting soldiers deliberately rammed their vehicles into a 17-year-old teen, inflicting wounds across his body.
The teen was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
The sources confirmed separate raids into Osarin town and Odala village, south of Nablus, where the heavily armed soldiers fired barrages of teargas canisters and concussion grenades, but without any casualties.
Meanwhile, occupation forces opened gunfire at a young man in the Jerusalem neighbourhood of Silwan, injuring him.
The man was eventually detained as confirmed in a press release by the Jerusalem Governorate.
Israeli occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for "wanted" Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
These raids, which also take place in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.
Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
