BETHLEHEM, December 3, 2024 (WAFA) - Israeli forces Tuesday demolished a home and an agricultural facility belonging to Palestinian residents in the village of Nahalin, west of Bethlehem, according to a local official.
Jamal Ghiyatha, the head of the Nahalin village council, confirmed that Israeli forces destroyed a home belonging to one of the residents in the eastern part of the village of Nahalin. The 150-square-meter house, which was inhabited, was demolished under the pretext of lacking an Israeli-issued building permit.
Confrontations broke out at the demolition site, with Israeli forces firing tear gas and sound bombs at residents, causing several suffocation cases among them.
In addition, Israeli forces demolished an agricultural facility owned by another resident, which included a plant nursery, an agricultural room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Another agricultural structure belonging to a third resident was destroyed, citing the same pretext.
These demolitions follow previous demolition orders issued by Israeli authorities against homes and agricultural structures in the said area.
