NABLUS, November 27, 2024 (WAFA) – A number of Palestinians suffered on Wednesday from suffocation by toxic gas as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' suppression of farmers in the village of Salem, east of Nablus.
Local sources said that the occupation forces attacked farmers in the eastern area of the village, while they were heading to their lands, and prevented them from picking olives, and fired toxic gas bombs, which led to a number of them suffocating, including children and women.
The olive harvest season in the West Bank this year is seeing repeated attacks by Israeli colonists and occupation forces, which have extended to the point of killing, burning and cutting down olive trees, stealing the crop, and preventing farmers from reaching their lands.
