JENIN, November 22, 2024 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Jenin and its refugee camp on Friday, leading to confrontations. No injuries or detentions were reported, according to local sources.
This incursion comes two days after Israeli forces withdrew from Jenin, its camp and surrounding towns following a 48-hour military onslaught that left eight Palestinians killed and 19 injured and caused extensive damage to infrastructure.
Since the onset of Israel's aggression on October 7, 2023, the occupation's violence across the West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem, has significantly escalated. According to official data, 795 Palestinians have been killed and over 6,450 have been injured. More than 11,000 have also been detained in ongoing raids and attacks.
