GAZA, November 20, 2024 (WAFA) - At least 20 civilians were killed and others were injured on Wednesday in an Israeli shelling targeting different locations in the Gaza city of Rafah.
According to medical sources, three civilians were killed in an Israeli bombing targeting a group of civilians in Khirbat al-Adas in the city of Rafah.
Seven more civilians were killed in an Israeli bombardment targeting a site south of the al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
Six civilians were also killed in the occupation’s bombing of Khaled Bin Al-Waleed school in Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza., where displaced persons are seeking shelter.
A civilian was also killed and others were injured in the occupation’s targeting of a group of civilians in the Beit Lahiya residential project area in the northern Gaza Strip.
Three other civilians, including two children, were killed in an Israeli artillery shelling targeting a shelter center inside Awni Al-Harthani school in northern Gaza.
Another civilian was wounded in a drone attack that targeted civilian homes in the Tel al-Zaatar area, north of the Strip.
The Israeli occupation’s ground, sea and air offensive on the besieged enclave since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of more than 43,972 civilians, and the wounding of 104,008 others.
Thousands of victims remain missing; either buried under the rubble or scattered on the roads, as rescue teams face tremendous difficulties in reaching them due to the continued Israeli attacks and the massive amount of debris.
