Israeli forces demolish several Palestinian homes in northern Jordan Valley

JOEDAN VALLEY, November, 18, 2024 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces began demolishing the homes of citizens in the Umm al-Jimal community in the northern Jordan Valley, whose residents were displaced three months ago.

The official in charge of the Jordan Valley file in Tubas Governorate, Mutaz Basharat, stated that the occupation began demolishing the homes of citizens that remained in the Umm al-Jimal community, after displacing the families of the community three months ago.

The 14 families of the community were forcibly displaced during the month of August, due to the escalation of colonist attacks.

The colonists had established the nucleus of a pastoral colonial outpost near the homes of citizens in the Umm al-Jimal community before its displacement, and began carrying out dangerous and escalating daily attacks on them under the protection of the occupation forces.

The population centers in the Jordan Valley and the eastern slopes of the West Bank are witnessing escalating targeting by the occupation authorities and settlers, with the aim of permanently displacing their residents and completely seizing them
