JERUSALEM, November 15, 2024 (WAFA) – A young Palestinian woman was injured this evening by shrapnel to her face and eyes during an Israeli military raid on the town of Abu Dis, southeast of occupied Jerusalem.
Local and medical sources reported that the Israeli forces stormed Abu Dis to provide protection for an Israeli colonist who had arrived in the town center in his vehicle. The colonist was reportedly engaged in provocative behavior and harassment of local residents.
During the raid, Israeli soldiers fired stun grenades, one of which exploded near a young woman, causing her to sustain injuries to her face and eyes. The injured woman was immediately treated at a local medical facility.
According to sources, confrontations erupted between Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers in the town following the incursion.
