RAMALLAH, November 13, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Wednesday evening detained an injured Palestinian youth from the village of Deir Qaddis, west of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to security and local sources.
They said that the occupation forces sealed off all the entrances of the village before the heavily armed soldiers barged their way into it.
In the course of the raid, the soldiers broke into a clinic and rounded up an injured young man, who remained unidentified, before withdrawing.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that the soldiers denied its paramedics access to the village, briefly held them and seized their mobile phones.
This came as convoys of convoys of army vehicles conducted raids into the cluster of Palestinian villages located to the west of Ramallah, namely Ni'lin, Kharbatha al-Misbah, Ras Karkar, Kafr Ni'ma and the Ayn Ayoub, closed all the roads leading to them by checkpoints.
This also came after a ramming attack was allegedly carried out near the Modiin Ilit colony and the village of Deir Qaddis, lightly injuring two Israeli soldiers.
