Occupation forces release WAFA correspondent, Palestine TV crew in Tubas after seven hours

TUBAS November 13, 2024 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces Wednesday night released Esra Ghorani, a female reporter with the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA) and the Palestine TV crew after detaining them for approximately seven hours at the Tayasir military checkpoint east of Tubas.

Ghorani reported that the occupation detained them at approximately 1:00 PM, as they returned from covering the occupation's demolition of a house under construction in the village of Kardala in the northern Jordan Valley.

She added that the occupation soldiers seized their personal cards, cameras and mobile phones, and searched them thoroughly.

Ghorani further noted that after being left waiting for five hours, the soldiers returned to question them individually about their work and the footage captured on their cameras and their mobile phones before finally releasing them.
