NABLUS, November 13, 2024 (WAFA) – Three Palestinian citizens were injured on Wednesday by Israeli occupation forces during their raid on the village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that three people, aged 17, 19 and 24, were severely beaten by the occupation forces and were transferred to the hospital for treatment.
The head of Burqa village council, Ziad Abu Omar, told WAFA that large forces of the occupation army stormed the village this morning, closed the entrances to the village and prevented entry and exit, and deployed in several neighborhoods inside, while confrontations erupted during which the occupation soldiers fired sound and gas bombs.
He added that infantry forces and several military vehicles stormed the village from several entrances, and turned a house into a military barracks in the middle of the town and raised Israeli flags on it.
They also raided dozens of houses, including his own house, and conducted searches and vandalized the contents inside them.
School hours were also delayed as the raid is still ongoing.
