Over 15 Palestinians detained by Israeli forces in the West Bank

RAMALLAH, November, 12, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli forces conducted a series of detentions across the West Bank overnight, detaining at least 15 Palestinians, including two siblings and former detainees, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) and the Palestinian Authority’s Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs.

The raids targeted several areas in the West Bank, including the cities of Hebron, Ramallah, Qalqilya, Nablus, Salfit, and Jerusalem, and were accompanied by violent raids on homes, widespread destruction of property, and threats made against detainees and their families. In some cases, Israeli forces ransacked homes, destroying personal belongings and confiscating items without explanation.

Among those detained were former detainees who had already spent time in Israeli prisons, as well as brothers who were detained together. The detentions are part of a broader campaign of repression that has intensified in the wake of the ongoing Israeli genocide against the Palestinian people, which began in October 2023.
