NABLUS, November 11, 2024 (WAFA) - Several Palestinians suffocated by tear gas on Monday night during confrontations with Israeli forces in two separate incidents in the West Bank.
In the village of Udala, south of Nablus, Israeli troops raided the area, amid the firing of live ammunition, tear gas canisters and sound bombs, spurring confrontations with residents, resulting in multiple cases of suffocation.
Security sources confirmed that one Palestinian was detained by Israeli forces during the confrontations.
Israeli forces also stormed the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem. Local sources stated that the occupation forces stationed their troops at the Baloua Triangle, and fired live bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters at residents and their vehicles, causing several people to suffocate due to tear gas inhalation.
These events underscore the continuing tensions in the West Bank, where Palestinian communities regularly endure military incursions and violent repression.
