GAZA, October 27, 2024 (WAFA) — A civilian was killed and others injured this morning following airstrikes by Israeli warplanes in Gaza City.
Medical sources reported that a member of the Abu Shari'a family was killed, and another was injured when an Israeli drone fired a missile at them on Al-Jalaa Street in northern Gaza City.
Additionally, several civilians sustained injuries due to artillery shelling in the Shafatawi area, located in the northwest of the city.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 42,847 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 100,544 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal onslaught continues undeterred despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
