NEW YORK, October 20, 2024 (WAFA) – The United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Tor Wennesland condemned on Sunday the ongoing attacks on civilians following Israeli airstrikes on Beit Lahia in the Gaza Strip.
“This comes after weeks of intense operations that have killed dozens of civilians and left almost no humanitarian assistance reaching civilians in northern Gaza,” Wennesland said in a statement.
87 civilians were killed and dozens injured when Israeli warplanes bombed several homes in the Beit Lahia project.
