BEIRUT, October 20, 2024 (WAFA) – Five individuals were killed today in two airstrikes carried out by Israeli warplanes targeting the towns of Sarifa and Kfar Dounine in the southern region of Lebanon.
According to the National News Agency of Lebanon, the first strike targeted a home in Sarifa, resulting in the murder of three people. The second airstrike hit a residence in Kfar Dounine, leading to the murder of two others.
Additionally, the agency reported that Israeli fighter jets conducted strikes on the town of Hanine, causing the destruction of several homes in the area.
Meantime, Israeli warplanes and artillery also struck multiple towns including Taybeh, Abba, Kfar Shuba, Kfar Hamam, Deir Sryan, Nabatiyeh, Hirmar, Maroub, Hosh, Deir Qanoun, Shabaa, Khyam, Dhaheriyah, Aita al-Shaab, Zarariyeh, Sidqin, Kafra, Ramadiyah, Naqoura, Alam al-Shaab, and Tair Harfa.
In a related development, the UNIFIL forces operating in southern Lebanon reported that the region of Mais al-Jabal has not received any food or water supplies since September 27 due to blocked roads, with residents left without water since yesterday.
