BEIRUT, October 16, 2023 (WAFA) — The Israeli occupation army launched three airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut Wednesday morning after evening raids that killed 23 people in southern and eastern Lebanon.
The official Lebanese News Agency said that the enemy warplanes launched three consecutive raids on the southern suburbs of Beirut, one of which targeted Haret Hreik area.
The agency added that a raid targeted a building near Qaiq school, without further details.
The southern suburb is the area between the southern coast of Beirut and the beginning of Mount Lebanon east of the capital, and is administratively affiliated with the Mount Lebanon Governorate (west).
